Meet My Clients: Rachel Sharp, The Little Oak Studio
One thing that all my coaching clients have in common with each other, and with me, is a genuine passion for what they do.
A desire to capture precious family moments is what drives Rachel Sharp of The Little Oak Studio. She specialises in newborn and family photography, producing gorgeous images her clients will treasure and hold close to their hearts for years to come.
When I first met Rachel she had just taken the enormous step of opening her own studio in Ridgehaven, and was ready to take her business to the next level.
I recently sat down with Rachel and asked her to reflect on our time working together. This is what she had to say:
“I first saw Tammy speaking at a business event. Hearing her speak on the panel that day was a real ‘aha’ moment for me and I knew I needed her help”
I had reached a point where to keep my business growing and I wanted to work with someone who would push me to be my best, but who had also been on this journey themselves.
I loved that Tammy had real-life experience in running and growing her own successful business.
I hope that working with Tammy would provide me with clarity, but also recognition that I was on the right path. Until that point in my business, I had done everything on my own, so it was a big step inviting someone else in.
When I first started working with Tammy my business was only just beginning to expand as I had only recently moved into my commercial space. I knew that to keep on top of everything I needed to get systems and procedures in place, so I could then take on staff to enable business growth.
Tammy has helped me realise my worth and to me that is invaluable.
I now have the confidence to run my business the way I want to … although I am still working on learning to say ‘no’!
I really feel like Tammy is part of my tribe and I am proud to call her a friend now too. She has also built an amazing community in Tammy’s Table, where I often end up crying because I am laughing so much.
Half of my life is my business, but the other half is being a wife and Mum to four kids. I am so excited to see where my business will take me in the next 12 months. I can now see myself actually earning a wage and making my business work for me and my family!”
